EARLY JULY 2018 – AN INSPIRING TRUE STORY MUCH TO BE ADMIRED

THERE IS NERVOUS AND THERE IS VERY, VERY, VERY ANXIOUS NERVOUS AND THEN THERE IS………

Challenge night arrivedĀ on July 3rd 2018

For our Scoobie Diver Edward, like many of the divers we have trained, scuba diving is a passion. He had this brilliant idea a couple of months ago to surprise his partner Marisa with surprise gift voucher so that she could have a go at learning how to become a Mermaid and earn her first underwater gills. The pool booking got booked in and Marisa was presented with the voucher. Ouch!! “I can’t do that”, she said as she trembled at the thought of going underwater AND having recently learnt to swim!!

To say that Marisa was nervous was an understatement. I’m sure that those of you who can recall the feelings well can empathise! Well, the night arrived THIS WEEK! Will she, won’t she? Under my Scuba Wing we took the first steps. …..

And the result? Pop on over to our Facebook Scuba Page Scubaco Ltd a Scuba Diving Centre of Excellence for Training & Retail and take a look and it would be great to have your support with a LIKE if you feel that the photos are inspiring. It shows what can be achieved with the correct training and circumstances and…. treating you as an individual with your own training needs.

We ALL applaud you Marisa Mermaid.

Contact us at Scubaco Ltd where we continue to inspire many people from the age of 8 years upwards to achieve their dream of learning to Scuba Dive.

Scoobie Edward and his partner Marissa.
After the initial safety briefing with the appropriate training given to a first time under the water Marissa….
And then she breathed her first bubbles in the magic underwater Scuba Kingdom
Even been busy collecting some hoops from the bottom of the pool no less!
After careful instruction and explanation, Marissa found that having abit of water in her mask wasn’t a problem
And now through the hoops. Having a fantastic time now that Marissa realises it is all about the training and the preparation
And….back again. The feeling of being weightless is an amazing feeling. Added to this the fact that you can breathe underwater!
And here she is again. This time showing that even in the early stages of learning, when shown properly, you CAN learn to Scuba Dive! Well done Marissa and Team Scubaco!
