Here at the Scoobie Scuba shop we are always thinking up ways that will help others to engage in this fabulous sport.

The ‘Have a Go See If You Like It’ course of Discovery!

In our warm pool would be Mermen and Mermaids can have a go at breathing through the scuba equipment by standing up at the shallow end of the pool to start off with. At their own pace they will be guided under expert tuition to find their own level of competency in the water. The only pre-requisite is to be in good health and to be able to swim the width of a pool. No other previous skill is required just enthusiasm to have a go under our watchful eyes.

PLEASE NOTE: THE DISCOVER COURSE IS RUN BY USING A SWIMMING POOL. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS GROUPS HAVE YET TO BE ALLOWED ACCESS TO POOLS.  ANYONE WHO PURCHASES A GIFT VOUCHER FOR DISCOVER SCUBA WILL HAVE THE SESSION HONOURED ONCE POOLS FOR GROUPS SUCH AS OURS BECOME AVAILABLE.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL QUALIFICATION COURSES FROM THE AGE OF 10 YEARS ARE ABLE TO RUN AS WE REQUIRE AN OPEN WATER SETTING FOR THESE COURSES
